It took me 3 months to put this up here! It could be even later as I was hoping to have this put up with a video clip.
Anyway it was indeed a priceless moment, crossing the finish line of Desaru Long distance Triathlon 2009!
1st of August 2009, 9am, all is planned and prepared, I'm just 2km swim, 90km cycle and 21km run away from a precious moment of my life. Christine who is now my fiancée for more than 3 months already, back then was lured to accompany me to Desaru for the race. There she was waiting for me at the finish line patiently.
6 hours after the race started, finally I reappeared but this time with a bow tie round my neck & a bouquet of flowers! The cheering from people around suddenly came to a silent, she can't hear a thing even if there is an explosion 2metres away. She confused yet anxiously anticipating what I was about to do.
She turned shy, there were many pairs eyes excited for us yet I remembered her sweet smile, her eyes are upon me, I knelt in front of her, ironic that I started apologized that I made her wait so long to propose to marry her! (of course also made her wait for 6hours). The flowers was hers then.
Pass to my hands the ring I have searched for months! I pop the question of my life. “Dear, will you marry me?”
She says "YES!"
Sound of poppers, showers of rose pedals, we were completely cobweb by them and (the party spray thingy) the claps, the cheers of friends and even onlookers crowd surrounding us.
